The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for Test & Evaluation Flight Simulation Lab Technicians to join the Flight Simulation Labs located in Berkeley, MO.
This position is part of the Flight Simulation Labs Operations team and the applicant will be working in a fast pace environment supporting Flight Simulation hardware requiring technical skills in both electronic hardware development and trouble shooting. In this role you will be supporting repairs and modifications to Boeing manufactured Lab equipment and Simulators.
Position Responsibilities:
Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations and rack equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum down timePlans, conducts and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologiesDesigns, fabricates, builds and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software and methodologiesOur teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Lead Test & Evaluation Flight Simulation Lab Technicians.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in an Engineering Lab environment and/or comparable Military experience5+ years of experience with electronic hardware testing and troubleshooting5+ years of mechanical and assembly integration experience5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematicsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceHeld an active U.S. Top Security Clearance in the past 24 monthsCurrently or Previously Held a Special Access ClearanceCurrently or Previously held a J-STD-001 Soldering CertificationCurrently or Previously held a Standalone SAE Fiber Optics Fabricator Certificate5+ years of experience working with Avionic/ Flight Simulation equipment5+ Experience leading and mentoring teamsTypical Education/Experience:
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
Lead (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary Pay Range:
(Level 3): $55,250- $74,750
(Level 4): $63,750 - $86,250
