Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Test Engineering Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This leadership role is located in Edwards, AFB, CA.
The NASA Sky Range program integrates newly developed, advanced sensor capabilities into a fleet of unmanned aircraft and subsequently performs flight operations to provide test range support for DoD hypersonic capability development efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related professional/military experience OR Master’s degree and 3 years of related professional/military experience OR High School Diploma and 9 years of professional/military experience.
Must have previous experience with ground and flight test operations.
Must have knowledge of flight test policies and procedures.
Must have U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering, or Math (STEM).
Previous experience managing a ground/flight test operations team.
Experience with Global Hawk aircraft highly desired.
Salary Range: $118,000.00 - $177,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
