Maintaining and adhering to HSE requirements. + Training and assisting other members of the team. **Key skills and qualifications** + To have completed an Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline or extensive practical experience alongside a higher education in an engineering discipline. An understanding and experience of testing techniques ideally within a fluid metering environment. + Experience of Machine maintenance and repair. Competent in the use of standard hand and power tools. Knowledge of HSE requirements and safe working practices (COSHH, risk assessments etc.). + A good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills, coupled with the drive to learn. + A good level of knowledge in general engineering and systems to assist and advise on the development of products. Knowledge and experience of 6 sigma methodologies would be an advantage. + Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision.
