The Test Engineer - Laboratory for HemoCue is responsible to design, plan, and execute a wide range of laboratory tests, with a strong emphasis on exploratory research. This includes developing and validating novel testing protocols and analytical methods that support the early stages of product innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate scientific concepts into practical testing strategies, supporting the development of new diagnostic solutions.
This position is part of the Innovation and New Technology Development at R&D located in Ängelholm and will be an on-site position. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.
You will be a part of a dynamic team composed of Engineers, Technical Specialists, Systems and Usability Engineers and report to the Director Innovation & New Technology Development responsible for lab activities in the early phases of product development.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Plan, perform and evaluate exploratory tests with support from Technical Specialists as part of the New Technology Development project teamParticipate in the development of new tests/methodsSupport Innovation activities with various types of laboratory testingThe essential requirements of the job include:
University degree: BMA, B.Sc or M.Sc in natural sciences or engineeringExperience from performing laboratory work (chemistry, biochemistry, BMA)Experience from planning and evaluating laboratory testsExperience from method developmentKnowledge of statisticsIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
