Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer III to support PCBA testing and debugging at our Kuiper Redmond location. This role involves executing functional testing of PCBAs, diagnosing nonconformances, and coordinating rework efforts. The successful candidate will also deploy functional testing at contract manufacturers, support electrical debug, and train staff.

ResponsibilitiesSupport PCBA test and debug at the Kuiper Redmond facility.Program and execute functional testing of PCBAs.Diagnose nonconformances identified during testing of PCBAs.Document nonconformances and defects for communication to the PCBA manufacturing team and contract manufacturer.Coordinate PCBA rework to repair defects.Deploy functional testing and PCBA debug at the contract manufacturer.Travel up to 30% of the time to support testing and debugging activities.Support electrical debugging of PCBAs at the contract manufacturer.Train staff at the contract manufacturer on programming, testing, and electrical debugging of PCBAs.Essential SkillsProficiency in test engineering and PCB testing.Experience working with customers or contract manufacturers for electronics or PCBs.Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.5+ years’ experience with debugging PCBA designs, including microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, and/or sensors.Experience with circuit-level debug to the component level.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience delivering test solutions to manufacturing facilities.Expertise in developing and implementing manufacturing test strategies for electrical subassemblies.IPC-A-610 certification or familiarity.Experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging RF electronics.Programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB.Experience writing software to control test equipment and devices under test using standard software tools.Experience designing PCBAs of medium-to-high complexity.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
