Job purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Test Engineer. Efficiently develop and support measurement and testing equipment used in manufacturing processes and new projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and contributing to continuous improvement proposals for applied processes and equipment
Key responsibilities
Manage the software required for testing equipment.Maintain proper backups of programs used in testing equipment.Coordinate with Manufacturing and Control Engineering to optimize equipment performance and ensure safety.Participate in both corrective and preventive actions related to maintenance issues.Conduct statistical studies and analysis of measurement and testing equipment to detect failures and identify improvement opportunities.Update control systems on measurement equipment.Manage measurement parameters in accordance with specifications.Verify compliance with defined production process steps through system logic.Ensure measurement and testing equipment remains current and operational.Perform annual backups of equipment under responsibilityWhat we’re looking for
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Schooling: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related
Experience Time in similar position: 2+ years in a similar role.
