Your mission, roles and responsibilities

As the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the product interface with product development, contributing to the engineering change management process, supporting continuous improvement and production, and participating in the manufacturing engineering network. You will also design, implement, and monitor the production processes, ensuring the feasibility, productivity, and quality of the products.

Test Engineer Overall responsibilities and duties:

As a Test Engineer, responsible for maintaining and optimizing test systems (FICT, ICT, EOL), ensuring setup compliance, supporting new model builds, coordinating with cross-functional teams, driving quality improvements, and conducting training and audits.

 

The main missions of the role are:

Ensure all test lines (FICT, ICT, EOL Test) on top condition to support productionEnsure all test settings are within the official specificationPerform tester installation and qualificationGenerate PM plan of the test setupsGenerate test start up checklist, FMEA, Process Flow, TPM, WI, MSA, GR&R, cgk and cpk studyConduct periodic preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimum tester productivityCoordinate with suppliers, BG, R&D and other related cross functional teams for concerns related to the test lineConduct engineering trials and support new model builds and generate result summary.Report generation related to downtime and first past yield.Confirm test cycle time and initiate cycle time reduction activitiesInitiate test system to capture quality issues and lead rootcause analysis concerning the test linesBuy off new testers, and related tests fixturesConduct training to fellow Forvians related to tester use, operation and maintenanceSupport all line audits Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum education level:  Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering

 

Experience:

5+ years of experience as a test engineer within a high mix low volume production environmentStrong debugging skills for test hardware and software issuesExperience with automotive electronics products, particularly displays, IVI, ECU, Instrument Clusters, and camerasFamiliarity with electrical testing, RF testing, display testing, ROM/MCU writing, ICT, and functional testingExperience in dealing with global teams and multiple tester suppliers is a plus

 

Skills and Compentencies:
