Test Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Test Engineer with experience in vehicle test and development to support product validation activities for a large tractor program.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering or related field Internship or school project experience related to vehicle test/development Passion for mobile, off-road equipment Strong, hands-on mechanical skills General computer skills (MS Office tools)

Preferred Skills:

Background in agricultural/heavy, off-road equipment Knowledge of off-road equipment systems and operation Experience with application of test instrumentation and data acquisition equipment (specifically Dewesoft) and data processor (CANalyzer)

Responsibilities:

Fabricate, set-up, and disassemble test stands and equipment Recommend test equipment and specific test procedures Collect and analyze test data; formalize results in technical reports including conclusions and recommendations Diagnose repair issues on hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical components of ag equipment or test systems Assist test engineers with routine engineering tests in laboratory and field settings Assemble and install updated parts on ag vehicle test equipment

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
