Description
- The laboratory/clean room tasks shall be done in-situ in Customer facilities. Other activities can be developed remotely.
- Integration and validation activities of an space unit (electronics timing equipment, including HW, SW and FW).
- Prepare Test procedures, including traceability matrixes with unit requirements.
- Work closely with Test Bench responsible, to clarify test procedures and to facilitate test sequences debugging.
- Validate the Unit Under Test (UUT), using the test bench and the test sequences coded by the Test Bench responsible. Validation will be done in cleanroom or lab.
- Integrate, debug and validate new issues of SW and FW and HW modifications.
- Post-process test results.
- Work closely with SW/HW/FW engineers to understand the intricacies of the Unit Under Test (UUT) and provide valuable input for improvement.
- Understand Unit Under Test (UUT) architecture and its documentation.
- Provide Document Test Reports to the customer.
- Participate in project meetings and validation activities with project team.
Tools
- Internal laboratory tools & instruments like Multimeters, Signal Analyzers, Generators, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Counters, Phase noise and ADEV measurements, etc.
- Programming language as Python or Matlab, or any other relevant language for data processing.
- Office suite
Education
- Bachelor´s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
- English: Intermediate level.
Work Experience
Experience/Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in IVVQ / test engineering, ideally in the space industry.
- Experience/Knowledge in IVVQ for electronic systems.
- Experience/Knowledge in IVVQ including HW, SW and FW integration and validation.
- Nice to have: Experience validating firmware, software and complex algorithms.
- Nice to have: Programming languages such as Python or Matlab.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proactivity and commitment towards the assigned tasks to ensure completion in time, cost and performance.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate and manage risks and opportunities associated to IVVQ activity.
- Nice to have: experience with any of these interfaces: UART and SpW.
- Nice to have: design and debugging of electronic circuits.
