Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Test Engineer who will be responsible for designing, assembling, and testing fixtures, as well as implementing quality procedures for our products. This role involves analyzing product features, developing test parameters, troubleshooting issues, and authoring final test procedures and reports for the Sustaining Engineering team. The Test Engineer will ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards, streamline testing processes, and prepare accurate test reports.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, assemble, and test fixtures.Implement quality procedures for products.Analyze product features and develop test parameters.Troubleshoot issues and author final test procedures and reports.Ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.Streamline testing processes and prepare accurate test reports.Essential SkillsExperience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and signal generators.Strong understanding of PCB design, schematics, and debugging techniques.Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair analog and digital circuits at the component level.Experience with automated test systems and fixture design (mechanical and electrical).Proficiency in test development tools and languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, Test Stand, C/C++).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience supporting sustaining engineering and managing product lifecycle issues.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ISO 9001 practices.Experience working with contract manufacturers and global supply chains.Knowledge of component lifecycle management tools and change control processes.Work Environment

The role is based in a medical device manufacturing facility, offering a clean working environment. While this position is not officially a contract to hire, there is potential for conversion pending approval.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.00/hr.
