Job Title: Test Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated testing technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. This position requires an understanding of both Windows and Linux environments, as well as experience in manual software testing.

ResponsibilitiesExecute assigned test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software VOIP call stations.Perform functional and integration testing to ensure product quality.Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.Conduct performance testing and analyze results to ensure proper application functioning.Provide feedback on usability and user experience based on testing outcomes.Maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and overall quality metrics.Work with development team to learn software development processes and methodologies.Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.Identify and assist in the resolution of problems.Participate in quality process training.Essential SkillsExperience with Microsoft Windows, Linux, or other OS platforms.Experience with software application testing.Ability to use Microsoft Office tools.Ability to read and understand test plans and templates.Self-starter and motivated.Creative and effective problem-solving skills.Ability to work on and manage multiple tasks concurrently.Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough.Excellent interpersonal skills.Effective in a fast-paced environment.Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.Collaborative and enjoys working in teams.Additional Skills & QualificationsLinux OS experience preferred.Work Environment

This position is located in Coppell, TX, where several teams of configuration and test engineers work in parallel to assemble, configure, and perform validation testing of communication systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93600.00/hr.
