The Test Engineer, reporting to the Special Products Assembly Supervisor, will use technical and leadership skills in a team environment to apply knowledge of engineering principles and the physical sciences in support of the Mansfield Steam Test Facility and Special Products Assembly department. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Develop expertise in relief valve test methods and participate in continuous improvement of test technology and equipment. Act as the Mansfield Steam Test Facility and Hydrostatic Pressure Testing Domain Expert for organization. Coordinate product testing and certification of customer ordered product. Provide technical feedback and direction to the design and evaluation of new product concepts or legacy product modifications, including conceptualization, design evaluation, analysis, and testing of complex products. Collaborate with Sales, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain as part of a multi-functional team. Develop and complete test plans in coordination with internal teams and external customers. Evaluate experimental data and prepare engineering reports including analysis, conclusions, and recommendations. Assist with the design, construction, and operation of sophisticated test equipment and automated data acquisition systems. Develop long-term test schedules that take into account workforce, prototype parts availability, and physical test resource openings.Who You Are:

For This Role You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical subject area. 3+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated mechanical competence with hands-on mechanical experience. Ability to manage different projects of varying lengths and complexity. Demonstrated technical communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to apply fundamental knowledge of mathematics and physical sciences to the “hands-on” development of products, test equipment, test procedures, and measurement techniques Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position.Preferred Qualifications that set you apart:
Previous experience in pressure relief valve design, assembly, and testing methods.
