Rite-Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking an Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) Technician to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center's Code 34 Imaging and Electronic Warfare (EW)\/Radar Systems Acquisition Engineering Team. Work will primarily be located between NUWCDIVNPT (Newport, RI) and Middletown, RI but some travel will be required.\n
Requirements:\n\nPerform and witness EQT events and\/or measurement tasks for Imaging\/ISIS or EW\/Radar AN\/BLQ-10 systems and sub-components.\nTest Plans- Provide required input for Test Plan generation and constructive feedback on Test Plan peer reviews\nTesting Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans\/Procedures), identify\/prepare test equipment and install units\/systems under test into the appropriate testing apparatus.\nPerform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data.\nData Processing - After test completion, verify, review, and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to Customer to review\nLab Maintenance \/ Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing supplies.\nComplete basic technical and EQT procedures, interact with clients as needed, assist with basic troubleshooting, interpretation, and analysis of test results.\nPrepare Program Office Letters\/Memo's that address EQT requirements for systems.\nTrack, execute and close action items that are assigned.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills including communication with peers, project team members, and customers.\nMust have the ability to collaborate with team members, multi-task, and adapt to change.\nMaintain and grow customer relationships.\n\n
Additional Requirements:\n\nFormer experience performing some or all the following: shock, vibration, air-borne noise, structure-borne noise, enclosure, pressure, inclination, temperature and humidity is desirable. \nPosition requires US Citizenship, the ability to obtain and retain a security clearance with the US Government.\n4 years of full-time Navy technician experience in the operation, maintenance, installation, test and\/or repair of submarine Imaging, EW, or Radar equipment is desirable. \nTravel to Manassas, VA; Syracuse, NY; Northampton, MA or other deemed test sites is required- 10% of the time.\nMust be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\n\n
