Test Data Lead
**About the job you’re considering** We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Test Data Lead to architect and manage test data strategies across multiple environments. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality software delivery by enabling robust, reliable, and scalable test data solutions that support functional, integration, performance, and regression testing. **Your role** + Analyze application requirements and test strategies to architect comprehensive test data sets that support various testing types including functional, integration, performance, and regression. + Develop scripts and processes to migrate large volumes of data between environments (e.g., production to staging) while maintaining referential integrity and compliance. + Build automated tools for test data generation, refresh, and management. Integrate these tools with CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery cycles. + Conduct data validation checks to ensure completeness, correctness, and consistency of test data sets. Resolve anomalies and discrepancies proactively. + Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on test data architecture, data models, data flow diagrams, and process manuals to support transparency and knowledge sharing. + Work closely with QA, development, DevOps, and business teams to understand data requirements and streamline dependencies to ensure timely and accurate data availability. + Evaluate current test data processes and tools, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation to enhance efficiency and reliability. **Your skills and experience** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience + 5 years of experience in test data management, QA, or software testing roles. + Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, Shell) for data manipulation and automation. + Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). + Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
