We have experienced teams working in plasma, frame and wire spraying, polyurethane and sermetel painting as well as heat treating, brazing, and TIG welding operations. In addition to comprehensive internal engine repair/overhaul, we also operate a world-class evaluation and testing facility that’s FEDEC capable.
**Role Overview:**
As the 1st Shift Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting test cell systems, coordinating engine test activities, and ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. This on-site role is essential to supporting engine testing and shipping perfection reviews, contributing directly to GE Aerospace’s mission of delivering reliable and high-performing engines.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate the repair of test cell systems.
+ Serve as the primary focal point for select engine models for all test-related activities.
+ Coordinate with other test sites to share and implement best practices.
+ Solve technical problems quickly and effectively using solid technical skills.
+ Support and perform work in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulations.
+ Develop in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines and use prior experience to execute policy and strategy.
+ Perform perfection reviews for engine shipping and disposition faults, MCNs, etc.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of manufacturing or shop experience).
+ Minimum of 5 additional years of direct manufacturing, assembly, or test cell experience.
+ Airframe and Powerplants license (or 3 years of jet engine repair experience).
+ Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
+ Aircraft engine experience on CFM56, CF34, or CT7/T700 engine programs.
+ Project management skills.
+ Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements.
+ Problem-solving mindset: analytical, critical thinker, and challenges existing processes.
+ Ability to multi-task in a high-paced workplace.
**Additional Information:**
+ Shift: 1st shift with potential overtime, including weekends.
+ Background and drug screening required prior to employment.
+ Physical requirements: Ability to work in a test cell environment and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
+ Environmental notes: May involve occasional exposure to manufacturing environments.
