You Are:
UST is searching for a Test Architect who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into the software development lifecycle.
The opportunity:
· Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
· Define and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy, tools.
· Identify potential risks in the automation strategy and develop mitigation plans.
· Optimize test automation processes to reduce execution time, increase test coverage, and improve the overall efficiency of the testing process.
· Focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process and testing tool usage and make appropriate recommendation.
· Ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
· Ensure timely delivery of automation implementation.
· Mentor and guide the team to Keep current with advances in automation methodologies and tools.
· Define and drive the adoption of best practices, standards, and processes for testing across the organization.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
· 10+ years of experience with strong expertise in providing solutions for the automation testing projects.
· Proven track record of successful automation testing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
· Deep technical expertise in designing and developing custom automation frameworks from scratch (e.g., Selenium, Winnium, Appium, others)
· Strong Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript
· Strong proficiency in SQL queries
· In-depth knowledge of various test automation tools and platforms, including their strengths, limitations, and best use cases
· In-depth knowledge of various software testing methodologies, including Agile, Scrum and experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., BDD Cucumber, Unity Test Framework, Robot Framework, AltTester tool etc)
· Good exposure in 3D model verification for Digital twin applications developed in Unity framework.
· Experience in integrating test automation with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
· Proficiency in automating API and microservices testing, including experience with tools like Postman, REST Assured
· Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling and understanding of how to incorporate these into the broader automation strategy.
· Experience with version control tools like Git, understanding branching strategies, and code review processes.
· Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr
· Understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and networks
· Prior domain exposure to Digital Twin Applications would be plus.
· Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $90,000-$135,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
