Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to support test planning and preparation for Electronic Warfare Integration systems. As a Test & Evaluation Engineer, you will provide technical expertise to ensure the successful testing and evaluation of these systems. ResponsibilitiesDevelop program and product Test & Evaluation strategies, approaches, processes, schedules, and resource requirements.Create and execute test plans, test procedures, and automated scripts for army systems.Conduct performance, functional, and regression testing on software military systems.Analyze test results, document findings, and recommend improvements.Support developmental and operational testing in both laboratory and field settings.Manage day-to-day test activities at test facilities, resolve test execution issues, and chair daily test update meetings.Generate test documentation including Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), specific test plans, schedules, and test reports.Implement evaluation methodologies and frameworks for products and systems under test.Collaborate with product managers, engineering, logistics, contracting, and multiple external government organizations.Review documentation to ensure consistency with T&E and Engineering Policy, Guidance, and Standards.Provide technical advice and knowledge of program, system engineering, and value management technologies applicable to the test.Essential SkillsExperience coordinating and executing hardware/software integration testing.Software test experience in an agile work environment.Experience managing test cost, schedule, scope, and risk throughout program lifecycles.Experience reviewing and analyzing system performance against operational requirements.Familiarity with leading all aspects of a test including planning, management, evaluation, and reporting.Experience generating Test Procedures.Expertise in developing and applying measures of performance and effectiveness.Knowledge of DoD T&E policies and practices, including DoDI 5000.89.Understanding of army test methodology and Electromagnetic Spectrum.Hands-on experience with EW and/or SIGINT systems testing.Experience conducting performance, functional, and regression tests on software military systems.Familiarity with databases and automated tools for evaluation and verification support.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to self-start, multi-task, and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Current Active DoD Secret Clearance.Additional Skills & QualificationsB.A. or B.S. in any discipline.Four additional years of direct relevant technical experience or relevant military service may be substituted for education.Minimum of 10 years progressively complex experience in testing.DAU Level III or Practitioner certification in Test & Evaluation is preferred.Automated test experience (writing test scripts) is a plus.Work Environment
This position supports Program Management: Electronic Warfare & Cyber, based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. A flexible schedule is offered, with on-site presence required an average of 2 days per week. The company provides a supportive work culture, excellent benefits, and a flexible hybrid work schedule. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
