Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to lead test planning and activities for Product Lead Strategic Spectrum Warfare (PL SSW). This role requires providing technical expertise to ensure successful testing and evaluation of PL SSW systems. ResponsibilitiesDevelop program and/or product Test & Evaluation strategy, approach, process, schedule, and resource requirements.Manage day-to-day test activities at selected test facilities, including issue resolution, chairing daily test update meetings, and managing T&E working integrated product teams.Generate test documentation including Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), specific test plans, schedules, and test reports.Implement an evaluation methodology and framework for the product and/or system under test.Collaborate with product managers, engineering, logistics, contracting, and multiple external Government organizations.Review Product Management Offices documentation for consistency with T&E and Engineering Policy, Guidance, and Standards.Provide technical advice on program, system engineering, and value management technologies applicable to testing.Essential SkillsExperience in planning, coordinating, and executing C5ISR systems tests.Ability to manage test cost, schedule, scope, and risk throughout the program lifecycle.Experience in reviewing and analyzing system performance against operational requirements.Proficiency in developing and applying measures of performance and effectiveness.Knowledge of DoD T&E policies and practices, including DoDI 5000.89.Familiarity with databases and automated tools for evaluation, analytical, and verification support.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent interpersonal skills and proven communication abilities.Ability to self-start, multi-task, and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsA minimum of ten years of progressively complex experience in testing complex mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical/electronic systems.B.A. or B.S. in any discipline, or four additional years of relevant technical experience or military service.Active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.Preferred: Active TS/SCI clearance, DAU Level III or Practitioner certification in Test & Evaluation, hands-on experience with EW and/or SIGINT systems testing.Work Environment
This position supports PM EW&C, based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. A flexible schedule is offered, with an average on-site requirement of two days per week. There might be additional flexibility once integrated into the team. Benefits include vacation accrual, paid holidays, and full benefits.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
