Job Description

We are looking for a test Engineer for a Light Rail System

The project consists of the commissioning of  a new rolling stock, ensuring operational excellence and safety.

You will have the following responsibilities:

Organize the teams of technicians in charge.Plan the day-to-day operations according to the established objectives of deadlines, safety and quality of service to the Customer.Management and execution of functional and dynamic tests on both mechanical and electronic systems with the mission of minimizing incidents and claims by the Client.Validation of on-board subsystem, signaling and communication systems.Documentation and reporting of incidents detected during testing.Resolve functional incidents that may appear in some of the equipments and systems.Coordination with engineering, quality and production departments, with suppliers and with experts from all over the world for fault resolution.Follow-up of test protocols and validation of results.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering (Electricity, electronics, mechanical, telecommunications...).

Previous experience in positions related to test management, delivery, maintenance and commissioning of complex equipment (Rail experience) : 4+ years 

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

English is a must (spoken and written).
