Aon sp. z o.o. Test Analyst - Reporting and BI This role offers an opportunity to join our CRS Ecosystem Reporting & BI Product Team. You will help to ensure we are delivering quality, fully tested Reporting & BI solutions to our colleagues. The role requires taking an active part in all testing related activities including test planning and execution, test automation and providing testing support. The role will also involve building out our testing framework, tools and best practices as we transition to a mature product. Specifically, within Commercial Risk Solutions (CRS) we offer risk advisory, risk transfer and structured solutions that help organisations and individuals identify, quantify and manage their risk exposure through insurance. What the day will look like Translate business requirements and user stories into clear, traceable test cases and scripts to ensure Reporting & BI solutions meet expectations. Identify, log and manage defects through to resolution, working closely with data engineers, report developers and project stakeholders. Perform data reconciliation between source systems, data warehouse, and reporting layers to ensure data integrity. Provide timely reporting on testing progress, system quality and risks to support decision-making and project transparency. Validate Power BI Reports to ensure correct metrics and filters are used Participate in the solution development lifecycle in an agile environment including analysis, design, testing, and implementation. Support internal data-related activities, including data profiling, quality assessment, and troubleshooting data issues. Skills and experience that will lead to success 2+ years of experience in testing, QA, and/or development of data solutions, including reporting and visualizations. Strong experience applying a range of testing methodologies and tools Proficient in developing and executing detailed test cases and scripts, ensuring traceability across the project lifecycle. Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards in Power BI. Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and understanding of Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse concepts. Experience working with diverse people and data requirements in a global environment. Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Degree in Business, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience within the Insurance / Insurance Broking sector preferred Experience with automated data quality checks using tools like Soda to monitor, test, and validate data pipelines preferred How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
