We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled End-to-End (E2E) Test Engineer to join our GXT (Global Exchange Technology) team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in E2E testing, with strong proficiency in API testing and database validation. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of complex financial systems through comprehensive test planning, execution, and automation.
Your roleDesign and execute end-to-end test scenarios for GXT applications, covering UI, API, and backend systems.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for RESTful and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Perform database validation and write complex SQL queries to verify data integrity and backend processes.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Strong experience in E2E testing of enterprise applications.
Proficiency in API testing (manual and automated).
Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Experience in financial or trading systems (especially GXT or similar platforms).
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell.
Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $65,200 - 158,550. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
