Job Title: Test Analysis Engineer

Job Description

This role involves supporting testing for NASA rocket engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in rocket engine testing, both hardware and software, with a focus on test plans and defining test requirements. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to own multiple parts of a project and contribute to a growing engineering services and testing company.

ResponsibilitiesSupport testing for NASA rocket engines.Define test requirements and develop test plans.Conduct hardware and software testing and validation.Perform model analysis and structural analysis using tools like Nastran.Update and maintain current software with provided training.Engage in mechanical system testing and have exposure to fluid dynamics and propulsion.Work cross-functionally throughout hardware and software test cycles.Contribute to full life-cycle testing from a small to medium-sized company perspective.Qualifications5+ years of experience with rocket engine testing on hardware and software.Experience with test plans, test methods, and test article documentation.Basic knowledge and ability with C and Unix/Linux systems.Model analysis experience.Software and hardware test experience.Experience with hardware design and test equipment.Familiarity with Unix/Linux distributions like Fedora and RedHat.Mechanical system experience and fluid dynamics/propulsion knowledge are preferred.Programming, networking, and development experience.Client-facing and cross-functional collaboration skills.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.50/hr.
