Formula for Success

 

As Territory Manager, you’ll be responsible for the ongoing commercial results for your territory of Auckland, Pukekohe, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Northland, King Country and Taranaki.

 In this role, you will support the BASF Agriculture business in achieving its strategic objectives through new business development for crop protection products and seed treatment sales as well as developing and implementing market plans to achieve sales targets.

 

You’ll:

 

Build and develop relationships with retailers, end-users, and other key stakeholdersDevelop and implement sales strategies and product positioning of existing and pipeline productsManage key accounts including product forecasting, briefing on new products and management of customer needsGenerate pricing proposals and conduct analysis of future product development strategies

 

This is a remote position, however, if you reside in Auckland area there is an opportunity to attend our office. The territory is best served from the Auckland or Waikato area, however, will consider candidates elsewhere.

 

Ingredients for Success

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of various levels, with the ability to work well independently as well as within an extended team environment.

 

You’ll:

 

Have relevant experience within sales or commercial roles, within the agriculture market is highly regarded, however an agricultural background is not essential. Be highly diligent with excellent time managementBe self-driven and show initiativePrevious agronomic experience with crop protection products (highly desirable, however not essential)
