This is a field sales role where you will engage directly with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. Working collaboratively within Field Sales Teams, you’ll play a vital role in driving our customer-centric business model.
Your primary focus will be to maximise sales across our product range within your designated territory. Based in the field, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager/Sales Lead.
What You Will Do
Achieve sales targets and maintain activity levels for your territory and productsDevelop and execute territory plans, regularly reviewing progressBuild and nurture strong relationships with veterinarians, vet nurses, store managers, and other key stakeholdersCollaborate with the technical services team to deliver impactful technical messaging and boost salesIdentify customer needs and clearly communicate how our Animal Health products provide superior solutionsDifferentiate our products effectively against competitorsParticipate in promotional activities to maximise sales opportunitiesProvide technical and sales training to wholesalers and customers to ensure consistent messagingManage product complaints, pricing queries, compliance issues, and follow-ups promptlyDeliver corporate sales presentations to consumer groups, customers, and wholesalers as neededAnalyse customer data to inform territory planning and target high-value customersContinuously improve selling skills, including Action Selling and key account managementFoster open communication within the sales and marketing teams, sharing knowledge and contributing positivelyWhat You Must Have
Tertiary qualification in business or science preferredProven commercial success in sales essentialProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with technology (e.g., iPad)Strong relationship-building skillsAbility to explain technical information clearly and simplyHigh flexibility, resilience, and problem-solving abilityExcellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills (written, oral, and presentations)Strong organisational skills and responsiveness to customer needsCollaborative mindset with inclusive behavioursSelf-motivated and able to work independentlySound decision-making skills for day-to-day activitiesWhat You Can Expect
