Territory Sales - Field Sales Account Executive - Senior

We are looking for a talented **Territory Sales - Field Sales Account Executive - Senior** to join our team specializing in **Sales** for our **CUMMINS** in **Ciudad de México.** **Job Summary:** Prospects and develops new opportunities to grow the business. Independently develops/executes account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment or channel partners. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Support Import Sales of buses with Cummins Engine from China, coordinate with partners in China to control exports to Mexico, perform pull marketing activities and accountability of Chinese OEM's + Identifies and contacts potential customers to generate sales opportunities. + Develops and executes account plans for key prospects, conducting sales visits. + Builds and strengthens customer relationships to understand their needs and buying process. + Recommends and presents Cummins solutions based on customer priorities and market trends. + Negotiates terms, supports collections, and manages overdue accounts when needed. + Collaborates with internal teams and customers to resolve payment issues. + Achieves sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. + Uses Cummins tools and processes (CRM, sales forecasting, reporting) to track progress. + Mentors less experienced account executives. + Coordinates with internal teams to align inventory, service, and delivery with customer expectations. To be successful in this role you will need the following: + At least 2 years experience in sales + Experience in automotive field + Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM + Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. + Ability to analyze customer needs and present tailored solutions. + Experience managing sales forecasts, CRM tools, and reporting processes. + Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, particularly in collections and payment negotiations. + Leadership and mentoring capabilities to support less experienced team members. + Advanced English proficiency is required. + Must be based in Mexico City, Monterrey or Guadalajara. **Qualifications** . **Responsibilities** **Competencies:** + Effective Communication + Business Insight + Customer Focus + Articulating Value Proposition + Channel Awareness + Pricing Strategy + Negotiation Excellence + Account Planning + Adapting to Target Audience + Developing Account Strategy + Integrating Customer Perspective + Sales Forecasting + Sales Pipeline Management + Sense Making + Valuing Differences **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
