This role's focus is on selling in alignment with commercial and customer plans to secure optimal distribution, displays, and promotional support. By leveraging data-driven insights, we influence key sales drivers such as shelf share, off-location execution, and product mix to enhance profitability. Pre-selling promotional and seasonal activities ensures stock availability, while strong in-store execution is achieved through strategic use of category insights and fact-based decision-making. Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with store and grocery managers to influence inventory levels, secure paid displays, and gain incremental visibility using insights. In-Store Execution: Ensure compliance with planograms and promotional standards, while educating store staff on new product developments and upcoming promotions. Commercial Delivery: Execute the commercial calendar and sales strategy, meeting both short- and long-term objectives tracked via Newspage. Data-Driven Selling: Use store scan data and business reviews to identify sales opportunities, measure activity effectiveness, and communicate results to stakeholders. Qualifications About you: Supply Chain Awareness: Understand all aspects of the customer supply chain to effectively influence On Shelf Availability. Sales Growth Planning: Identify in-store growth opportunities aligned with Blueprint objectives and implement plans to improve execution. Insight-Driven Selling: Use category facts and retail maths to support persuasive, action-oriented sales conversations with retailers. Objection Handling: Anticipate customer objections and apply negotiation techniques to resolve them during sales presentations. Data Interpretation: Confidently interpret and apply category insights in all customer interactions to drive commercial outcomes.
