As the Lisbon Territory Lead for Uber Eats, you’ll play a pivotal role in one of our most strategic and high-performing markets globally. You’ll be responsible for owning the business performance of Lisbon end-to-end, driving commercial excellence through a team of experienced Account Managers. We’re looking for a local market expert with B2B sales background, preferably in tech and/or hospitality/restaurant business who thrives in fast-paced environments. You must be fluent in Portuguese and bring a relentless drive for results, exceptional negotiation skills, and a talent for leading and inspiring high-performing teams. The right candidate will have a rare combination of sound strategic vision, creative problem-solving, drive for results, and interpersonal ability to keep strong relationships with our merchant ba ### **What You'll Do** 1. **Strategy:** Own your market by defining business priorities, set bold timelines to reach those goals and take financial decisions 2. **Lead a local team:** you will have local teams on the ground that will help you managing your business. That's why we look forward to hiring optimistic leaders: developing these teams while shaping the organisation is key to our long term success. 3. **Drive performance and target achievement:** you will make sure your team performs at a very high level, always bringing incremental value to current and new merchants, and as a consequence, to Uber Eats 4. **Develop & Optimize Processes:** Uber is a company that moves fast and does things at large scale. You will help design processes; whether it be prospecting, onboarding, account management, training, etc. to fuel growth and drive efficiency. 5. **Restaurant Partners Relations:** Grow number of partners on the platform, manage partner development, monitor metrics, and ensure high-quality experiences on the Uber Eats system to provide the most reliable food delivery service in town. 6. **Team work:** Work closely with other teams, including Operations, Commops, Marketing, Comms and Policy and Regional teams, to implement new processes and products in your territory 7. **Be on the ground**: Have full control of your territory, meet your biggest partners and manage your team. 8. **Hustle**: take ownership and do what it takes to get the job done. ### What You Will Need 1. At least 5 years experience in operations management, management consulting, investment banking, strategy work in a large business, growing a startup or similar experience. 2. Outstanding commercial acumen and negotiation and deal-making capabilities 3. Proven team leadership and performance management experience 4. Data-driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through analytical thinking 5. Ability to take initiative and easily adapt to constantly-changing work environment 6. A creative mindset and enjoy putting in place initiatives to solve practical issues 7. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required 8.
