Territory Account Managers are responsible for the generation of sales within hospitality and laundry sector.

He/she manage and maintain relationships with clients, and oversee all sales activities within the sector.

Duties and responsibilities often include:

Developing and implementing sales strategiesIdentifying potential new customers and establishing relationshipsMaintaining relationships with existing clientsUnderstanding customer needs and identifying sales opportunitiesSetting sales goals and delivering targetsPreparing and delivering presentations to clientsNegotiating contracts and closing sales dealsMonitoring competition within the sectorPreparing reports on account status

Qualifications for a Territory Manager at Diversey

Bachelor’s degree preferred2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in technical service, field sales, or equipment maintenance in the food service, hospitality, or laundry industriesStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with equipment installation, diagnostics, and repair (warewashing, laundry, dispensing systems, etc.)Sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, upsell/cross-sell, and close dealsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train end-users and present solutions to management-level stakeholdersProficiency in using mobile tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight staysFlexibility to respond to after-hours or weekend service calls as needed
