Your Role and Responsibilities
Are you finishing university and unsure where to start your professional career? Would you like to develop your skills and avoid daily routine? ABB Brno is opening a trainee position for the sales department. The program includes a six-month internship in the high and low voltage service sales department in Brno, followed by a six-month internship at a partner ABB in another European country.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
The work model for the role is: onsite
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support ABB’s businesses, collaborate with different leaders and teams, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by your leader. You will also aspire to achieve your career goals by participating in professional development.
Tendering of service products, spare parts, site services
Technical preparation of offers
Working closely with other Electrification service units around the globe and also end customers
Active management in SalesForce.com
Qualifications for the Role
University graduates with no more than 2 years working experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Czech
A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement

About the program
In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop a skills necessary to kickstart a career in Service division in ABB. As a trainee you will be a part of community, and you will participate in activities with other trainees like taking parts in trainings to enhance soft & technical skills, meeting project deadlines, and engaging in diverse social and team-building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program you will also receive support from Program Lead.
