Individual will help oversee the daily Treasury/Cash Management operations for the firm, interacting with immediate staff and a variety of business units.  The primary responsibilities will be the daily management of the cash process and wire/ACH activity, financial reporting, and working with Baird’s banking partners.

Your work as a Temporary Treasury Management Specialist will involve:

Field Interface

Monitor all incoming and outgoing client Fed wire and ACH transfers.Provide notification to the field on large incoming wire transfers and provide fed reference numbers for outgoing wires as needed.Make entries in Beta for incoming wire transfers for both client and corporate wire activity.

Other duties

Comprehensive knowledge of cash management policies and procedures.Intimate knowledge of the system interfaces the department uses.Work closely with Finance, Bank Reconciliation, Money Markets and Client Services for all cash services.

Position Specifics:

Temporary position with anticipated commitment through 1/30/2026 with the possibility to extend.Full time hours, Monday-FridayNormal business hours onsite in downtown Milwaukee headquarters

What we look for:

Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 2+ years of experience in a financial services operations role is a plus.Excellent ability in understanding the cash management process of various depositories and banks.Strong communication skills.Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple departments and with outside partnering companies.
