Temporary Loadout Operator

A Day in the Life:

The Loadout Operator reporting to the Material Handling Supervisor is responsible for the meal and pellet bins, oil tanks, and the safe and efficient handling of oil and meal loadout operations. This role plays a key part in supporting production through the movement of product, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.

 

This role starts at $32.00/hr

 

What you’ll be doing:

Adhere to all departmental safety policies, standards, and procedures; actively promote, encourage and enforce safety compliance among Bunge personnel and contractors. Safely load meal, pellets, and oil into trucks and railcars on a daily basis. Operate the site Trackmobile to move railcars efficiently and safely. Complete required documentation and issue safe work permits when necessary. Monitor and record inventory levels on a daily basis. Foster effective communication between departments. Perform routine fire checks as scheduled. Assist with monthly inventory by completing accurate measurements. Ensure equipment is kept clean, maintained, and in good working condition. Conduct daily inspections of the Trackmobile to ensure operational safety. Provide support to other departments as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Skill/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience with railcar operations is considered an asset. Strong mechanical aptitude with a proactive approach to equipment maintenance. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Capable of working at heights and following appropriate safety protocols. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
