About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager for a temporary 2-month contract position. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and plays a critical part in overseeing daily HR functions to ensure effective recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare human resources, with home health experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor recruiting metrics and data to assess hiring effectiveness
Supervise and support the HR Recruiter
Oversee on-boarding for both field and administrative team members
Manage terminations and off-boarding processes
Conduct disciplinary meetings with under-performing staff
Maintain regulatory and internal HR compliance
Collaborate with the Compliance Specialist to ensure ongoing compliance with agency standards
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2–3 years of HR experience in a healthcare setting required
Previous home health HR experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of HR compliance and employee relations
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
