This is a TEMPORARY role.
This role will be supporting testing at the Mileage Accumulators. The Mileage Accumulator consists of two buildings with 12 dynamometers each and is a unique blend of advanced technologies with multiple computers and software programs acting together.
This position requires:
The ability to interact with the engineering community to execute mileage accumulator tests. Complete knowledge of the automobiles drive systems. Understanding of the engine, cooling, transmission, differential, drive shaft, and engine controller is required as well as the ability to help diagnose the problems, using appropriate tools, to assist the engineering community in their resolution. Report/document vehicle issues and findings Assist customers in vehicle readiness Assist customers in maintaining vehicle integrityBasic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Strong understanding of automotive/vehicle fundamentals Ability to utilize provided tools Basic knowledge of operating computers Willingness to work in a team-based environment Be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to support critical test timelines Valid driver's license with no physical restrictions Minimum of four (4) years of auto industry experience, or related experience
