Temporary Digital Project Manager

Position Summary  We’re looking for a highly organized and technically fluent Digital Project Manager to join our in-house digital team. In this role, you’ll help bring to life user-facing digital experiences that support our retail business—keeping projects on track, aligning cross-functional teams, and translating business requirements into actionable plans. You will be the connective tissue between designers, developers, stakeholders, and end users, ensuring that Heath’s website and digital experience is a strong reflection of the company’s 75+ year heritage and brand. This 6-month temporary role will focus on several major website redesign initiatives, while also supporting smaller projects along the way. This role reports into our Design Program Manager. Position Responsibilities Project Management + Lead day-to-day project coordination for digital development initiatives—from product detail pages to complex interactive experiences and backend system integrations. + Lead web-related meetings that enable cross-functional collaboration between web, creative, marketing, and dev teams + Own timelines, sprint planning, roadmaps, and delivery schedules. + Track and communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly and consistently to all stakeholders. Technical Understanding + Collaborate closely with developers to scope features, estimate effort, and remove blockers. + Understand and help troubleshoot technical dependencies, workflows, and priorities. + Ensure technical decisions align with business goals and user needs. Cross-Functional Facilitation + Act as a bridge between design, web development, product development, content, and marketing teams. + Facilitate clear and timely communication to ensure alignment and understanding across teams. + Lead documentation of requirements, decisions, and changes throughout the process. Requirements Gathering & Translation + Work with stakeholders to gather and define product and project requirements. + Translate non-technical needs into clear functional and technical documentation. + Support UX and product teams in shaping user stories and acceptance criteria. Quality & Delivery + Ensure that final deliverables meet business goals, design quality, and technical standards. + Coordinate and support QA processes, bug tracking, and post-launch support. + Help drive a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving Qualifications + 4+ years of experience in technical project management, digital product management, or related roles + Solid understanding of the web and mobile development lifecycle, including CMS platforms, APIs, eCommerce technologies, and UX best practices + Experience working with integrated design and development teams  + Excellent communication skills—you know how to talk to developers, designers, and business stakeholders alike + Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello + Unmatched attention to detail, with a calm and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving + Familiarity with Figma, Shopify, and analytics platforms is a plus + Experience in retail, eCommerce, or consumer-facing digital environments strongly preferred Work Environment/ Hours / Compensation This is a temporary, full-time role (30-35 hours per week) for a period of 6 months. The position is hybrid, with two days in office (Tuesdays is one of our anchor in-office days). We have a beautiful office space and warmly encourage you to work from it beyond two days a week, if you’d like! The hourly pay range is $65.00–$70.00, depending on experience.
