This is a temporary, full-time position that could last up to 6 months. Qualifications PREFERENCES: Preference may be given to individuals who can perform algebraic calculations. KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of materials testing. + Knowledge of surveying methods and equipment operations. + Knowledge of construction inspection, which includes interpretation of plans and specifications. + Skill in the use of computers. + Strong math skills are required. + Ability to perform algebraic calculations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None - See "Preferences" Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + This position requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. + Individuals in this classification must be available for emergency work calls at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a response time of no greater than 30 minutes.
