Job Description

Are you ready to help shape how Rabobank’s engineering teams measure and improve delivery performance? As a Business Analyst supporting our Team Performance & insights initiative, you will play a vital role in coordinating and expanding a program that is redefining how squads monitor, discuss, and elevate their ways of working.
 

Following a successful pilot with 10 squads, we’re scaling up fast—with 15 new squads joining this year, 50 onboarded by January, and full adoption across 400 squads by 2026 year’s end. You’ll be at the centre of this transformation, supporting both technical solutions and cultural engagement.

You and your (temporary) role

This one-year assignment focuses on scaling our performance metrics program across Rabobank’s Retail NL organization. Using tools like PowerBI and DORA metrics, squads gain insight into how they deliver—and how they can improve. Your role bridges people, process, and tech—helping teams adopt the dashboard, understand the “why,” and build habits around performance conversations. You will also dive deep into how squads work today, gathering the data needed to calculate meaningful metrics for every team.

Assignment duration: 1 year.

Hours: 36–40 hours per week.

Top responsibilities

Coordinate onboarding of squads—from 15 this year to 50 by January and eventually 400.

Collaborate with the E&E Tech development team and take a leading role in evolving the PowerBI dashboard and expanding metric coverage.

Partner with the Program Manager to design and deliver training to Squad Triangles and teams on metrics literacy, performance analysis, and improvement strategies.

Craft messaging and facilitate conversations that connect the metrics to real delivery challenges and opportunities.

Map all diverse squad ways of working across Retail NL, documenting systems, data sources, and delivery practices.

Manage and execute the process of translating technical insights into actionable change of the dashboard.

Maintain close contact with stakeholders across E&E Tech, Retail NL, and the CPO organization, navigating a dynamic stakeholder landscape.

Report on progress to the central Program Team, highlighting successes, blockers, and future opportunities.

Take ownership of the dashboard that displays squad performance.

You & your talent

Proven experience as a Business Analyst or program coordinator in agile, data-driven environments.

Strong stakeholder management skills in large-scale or multi-department settings.

Experience with metrics programs, PowerBI or dashboard tooling, and performance improvement initiatives.

Ability to tackle complex challenges and develop solutions that impact multiple tribes and potentially multiple domains.

Excellent communication, training, and facilitation skills.

Ability to combine cultural empathy with technical acumen to enable sustainable adoption.

Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).

Bonus: Familiarity with DORA metrics or previous experience working with delivery teams.
