Royal Truck and Equipment (an Alamo Group company) is accepting applications to fill two (2) Temporary Installation/Assembly Technician positions at its facility in Shoemakersville, PA. The temporary assignment is expected to last 4-6 weeks. The Installation/Assembly Technician will: + Install components as required by each workstation such as harnesses, lights, cameras, etc + Ability to troubleshoot any electrical issues that may be incurred during the assembly process + Cross train in workstations as required. + Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. + Fill out any required documentation to support each process. + Lifting and climbing as required to perform tasks. + Have basic tools to perform assembly tasks. + Communicate respectfully with supervisors and fellow employees + Read and comprehend blueprints and tape measure + Requires various visual processing (i.e. near, far, depth, color) The ideal candidate will have/be: + Common knowledge and use of basic hand tools. + Strong electrical skills for 12V systems + Strong assembly and upfitting skills + Ability to work in a team environment + Must be able to read prints, instructions + Above average mechanical aptitude + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Hands-on attitude and ability + The ability to meet deadlines + Able to wear personal protective equipment + Able to work overtime and/or including weekends as production schedules dictate Education and Experience: + High School diploma or GED preferred. + Minimum Two (2) years of upfitting/vehicle assembly experience or related experience + Additional experience with some electrical is preferred Working Conditions: + Must be able to push and/or pull up to 40lbs + Standing frequently, walking, crouching, kneeling, fine manipulation with hand Alamo Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
