Job Details:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB  The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to applying shrink wrap to pallets of finished product.

The Stretch Wrap Operator manually places the start of the shrink wrap to the pallet of boxes or tubs Operates the shrink wrap machines Must be able to shrink wrap the pallets of products manually as required. Must be knowledgeable of what is needed in loading in terms of boxes being wrapped, Must be able to pick up any boxes which fall off the stacks and count number of pallets. Responsible for keeping machine operational, floors dried and to insure the dials                        are set to keep a steady work flow. Alert maintenance of problems with machines. Must be able to load, wrap and write sales order on pallets if machine goes down. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Tyson People are required to follow proper hygiene practices. Safety procedures to be used in and around the work areas are communicated to the Tyson People through the retention program.

II.        MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
Lifting and Pulling with hands and arms Must be able to lift 40 plus pounds Repetitive lifting of up to 40 pounds to load shrink wrap on machine Good hand and eye co-ordination Walking and standing duration of shift

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than  3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
