JOB DESCRIPTION:
Daily processing of EPO’s (Electronic Purchase Orders) and ECR’s (Electronic Check Requests). Maintain a steady volume of order processing to ensure Program requests are attended to quickly. Process Amazon Business online and Fresh Direct online orders for Program Staff. Handle Program inquiries about orders placed, delivery status and merchandise returns. Gather information and record to draw up purchase orders for procurement of materials and service. Respond to Program Admins, PD’s, VP’s, etc. on order changes, cancellations and other inquiries. Desire to be a part of an impactful department tailored to providing excellent customer service to all ICL Programs and administration staff.DUTIES/RESPONSABILITIES:
Provides administrative and clerical support to the department. Assists the VP and the Supervisor with sourcing vendors and data related to goods and services. Establishes and maintains systems, protocols and processes by the procurement department. Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and meet department deadlines. Open to learning procurement procedures and policies; as well as procurement Attention to detail and accuracy, forward-thinker, shows initiative and is energetic. Good written communication skills; ability to be concise and comprehensive. Great interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well with colleagues and program staff; as well as the Supervisor and the VP of the Procurement Department. Knowledge of Microsoft Office; (Word, Basic Excel, etc.). Advance Excel not required. Able to quickly learn new digital procurement platforms and other ICL digital systems.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A college degree or some college preferred but a minimum of a High School Diploma is acceptable. 2 years administrative office experience and/or procurement/purchasing in an office environment.
