About the Role:Employed through a preferred contingent supplier to support projects on-site or off-site for neurocrine._
Your Contributions (include but are not limited to):We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person with a passion for science and the ability to quickly learn new lab techniques
Working under the supervision of senior scientist you will assist with molecular cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, DNA gel electrophoresis and plasmid purification
You will use sterile technique during the culture of mammalian cell lines for DNA transfection and cell-based assay development
Requirements:BA/BS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or other relevant discipline with strong GPA
0-2 years laboratory experience in molecular biology (DNA restriction digest, ligation, gel electrophorese, PCR, plasmid prep)
Mammalian cell culture experience a plus
Knowledge of antibody assays such as ELISA a plus
Experience with standard laboratory instrumentation: PCR, centrifugation, DNA quantitation, gel documentation systems, plate readers and washers, liquid handling, etc. a plus
Ability to work safely and maintain detailed documentation of experiments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment
