Telesales Representative

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To engage assigned sales leads and prospects for state specific workers' compensation services via telephone and email contact


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Initiates sales calls to potential customers or leads to cultivate new businessWorks assigned prospects to promote and sell products and/or services, i.e. enrollment into workers' compensation programs.Follows established procedures and guidelines; may require deviation from standard screens, scripts and procedures based on leads.Contacts targeted state workers' compensation policy holders to gain permission to review for client workers' compensation program.Negotiates fees within limits of authority and specified parameters.Support overall sales and marketing initiatives of the organization.


ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned.Supports the organization's quality program(s).


QUALIFICATIONS


Education & Licensing

High School diploma or GED required.


Experience
Two (2) years of inside sales/telemarketing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.


Skills & Knowledge

Knowledge of inside sales and telemarketingKnowledge of organizations' products and servicesStrong oral and written communication skillsPC literate, including Microsoft Office productsStrong customer service skillsAbility to multitaskAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
