How will you make an impact in this role?
Working within our small and medium-sized business (SME) sales team, you will acquire new SME clients for American Express in the Spanish market.
It is a well-paid tele-sales position, with an excellent benefits package, including an attractive incentive plan. Daily, you will be dealing with high-level executives – including CEOs, CFOs, or Purchasing Managers – who will be the valid interlocutors for contracting the American Express Small Business Card, helping business owners manage their finances, improve cash flow, and maintain control of daily expenses, as well as enjoy additional benefits provided by the Card.
The SBS (Small Business Services) corporate cards from American Express offer various advantages with many benefits for companies, from a points program that adds monetary value to the spending done with the Card, to a comprehensive range of insurance for the business trips of the owner and their employees as well.
As part of the team, you must:
Offer SBS services to Spanish companies, closing sales in a professional manner, providing accurate information and customizing the benefits to the uniqueness of each company. Investigate where they will incur business expenses and encourage that spending. The sales are conducted over the phone and will be directed toward: Cold leads from small and medium-sized businesses. Clients who have shown interest in the Card (leads). Self-generated opportunities that you can bring, if they meet the criteria. In some cases, the Card is prepared, and follow-up is done during the 12 months following the sale, to support and motivate the client's spending. A strong ability to drive innovation and change is required; think from the client's perspective, always within the regulatory framework and with excellent compliance with processes.Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience in telemarketing for cards or other products with successful results dutring at least 4 years. Experience in lead generation, self-prospecting, and cold calling. Self-directed and results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on achieving and exceeding objectives and goals. Ability to learn and adapt to change, as well as a strong capacity to work in a team. Challenging mindset with the ability to think creatively to identify new business opportunities. Natural planner, very organized and able to manage multiple clients at different phases of the sales process and multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members in different markets to maximize individual and company performance. Very engaging phone communication style with the ability to speak confidently and excellently with high executives.
