Telemetry Technician at Providence Saint Johns Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour Night shift.

 

The Patient Administrative Associate/Monitor Technician (PAA/MT) provides clerical and administrative support, admitting activities, and insurance verification in the PCC/SDU units. In addition, the MT is responsible to observe the monitors, run and measure the telemetry strips, and report significant dysrhythmias to the nurse.

Required qualifications:

Successful completion of basic Dysrhythmia or Basic EKG class within 90 days of hire.upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 1 year Working in a healthcare related setting/field.

Preferred qualifications:

Successful completion (passed) a Basic Dysrhythmia or Basic EKG class.
