Responsibilities

Safe and efficient operation of telehandlers to meet scheduled targetsHoisting formwork, loading, unloading and movement of various site materials in high traffic areas and confined areasConduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activitiesMaintain equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concernsCommunicate effectively and professionally with other team membersBe a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

3+ years’ experience operating a telehandlerMust hold a valid telehandler ticket and demonstrate competency through a practical assessmentAbility to work under minimal supervision and part of a teamMust pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testValid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean 3-year driver’s abstract, CSTS-2020 Fundamentals and WHMIS 2015Must be willing and able to complete labouring duties when required

Work Conditions

Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day with potential overtime required over the summer months on the weekendWork in all weather conditions year-round and willing to lend a hand where neededComprehensive benefits package provided by CLAC, including extended health, dental, and prescription drug coverageCandidates must reside in the Greater Edmonton Region
