Telecom Technician

Job Overview:

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Telecom Technician for mobile device setup and support to work onsite. The Telecom Tech will ensure seamless provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of mobile devices. This role is highly customer service-oriented, requiring strong communication skills and a proactive approach to assisting end users with their mobile technology needs. You will play a critical role in setting up and maintaining cellular phones, tablets, and some ZOOM VOIP phones while providing an outstanding support experience.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Device Provisioning & Setup – Configure, enroll, and deploy cellular phones, tablets, and VOIP phones, ensuring they are fully functional before reaching end users. Customer-Focused Support – Provide responsive and professional support to employees, addressing issues with mobile devices, software, and connectivity in a clear and friendly manner. Service Management – Manage, prioritize, and resolve IT Telecom service requests through the designated tracking system while keeping users informed of progress. Inventory & Asset Management – Maintain accurate records of all mobile and telecom assets, tracking deployments and returns to ensure seamless device management. Collaboration & Escalation – Work closely with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A customer-first mindset, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. 1+ year of experience supporting mobile devices and VOIP technologies (preferred). Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a patient and friendly manner. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively. Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and ticketing systems.
