Insight Global is seeking an experienced OSP Engineer III to support fiber optic and copper infrastructure projects in a dense urban environment. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in field operations, particularly those with experience at a Regional Bell Operating Company (RBOC) such as Verizon (VZ) or NY Tel. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating the unique regulatory and operational landscape of an Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) and possess hands-on experience in construction and installation practices.

Skills and Requirements
Fios OSP design, and general construction knowledge
Experience in telecommunications / data networking or wireless industry.
Strong Computer Skills (Databases, Processes, and Administrative) - Comprehensive knowledge and skill for more complex applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, Google Earth, etc.
Knowledge of the network plant and local practices.
Experience with working application of engineering systems and databases.
Working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition
Collaborate with field technicians and construction foremen (CXM, I&R)
Conduct field surveys on foot or via subway throughout Manhattan
Design and oversee fiber optic and copper cable deployments
Manage installation of cables, terminals, splitters, and drops beyond the last terminal
Review conduit records and develop new Fios deployment designs
Respond to project-related emails and documentation requests
Utilize basic Excel or Google Sheets functions (e.g., filters, sorting) for project tracking null
