Salary: $2801 / Week As a professional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumes the responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetry patients. The RN – Telemetry demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner, with supervision. The RN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care, and consistently performs according to nursing standards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Position Description: 8/8/25 start preferred 13 weeks 3x12 hour 7-7:30 Rotating Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical diagnoses + Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical exams, and health histories + Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed + Monitor and document patient responses to interventions and changes in condition + Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and adjust individualized care plans + Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries + Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including wound care, pain management, and mobility support + Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, discharge instructions, and self-care + Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) + Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards + Respond promptly to emergencies such as rapid deterioration, falls, or code situations + Support patient advocacy and uphold patient rights and confidentiality Minimum Requirements: + Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices + One year experience in Telemetry Preferred + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age + 1 managerial reference completed within 1 year + Minimum of 18 months recent* Med Surg/Tele experience + Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
