We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience. The CloudOps L3 Support Engineer is responsible forproviding expert-level support, management, and optimization of Azure cloud infrastructure.advanced troubleshooting, automation using Terraform, and basic DevOps practices to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud services.Team Manager handling Client escalations, Stakeholder management, People management etc
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Incident and Problem Management:
Address and resolve the most complex incidents and problems escalated from L2 support. Perform deep-dive root cause analysis and implement robust solutions. Lead incident response and post-incident reviews to prevent future occurrences.Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform:
Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform. Develop and maintain Terraform scripts and modules for provisioning and managing Azure resources. Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.DevOps Integration and Automation:
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with application deployment workflows.System Administration and Optimization:
Administer and optimize Azure cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency. Conduct capacity planning and ensure appropriate scaling of infrastructure. Monitor and manage the health and performance of cloud services.Collaboration and Mentorship:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, DevOps, and security, to address complex issues and implement solutions. Provide guidance and mentorship to L1, L1.5, and L2 support engineers. Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering operational and automation insights.Continuous Improvement and Documentation:
Stay updated with the latest Azure features, Terraform advancements, and industry trends. Contribute to the development and improvement of support processes, standards, and documentation. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud support, system administration, or a related field. Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure. Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code. Technical Skills: Should be strong about the Azure concept’s and should be well versed with Plan, Design & Implementation of Azure infrastructure Good understanding on Azure Virtual Machines, VM Scale sets, Storage, Azure SQL, App Services, Backups etc. Should have experience in working with Hybrid Cloud/Infrastructure model. Should be strong in scripting, preferably PowerShell, ARM templates, YAML and cloud automation. Should have intermediate to expert knowledge in CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps pipeline and experience in development and deployment of the cloud services using different templates such as ARM template, YAML for large scale deployments Should have intermediate to expert on Terraform for build, plan, deploy Azure infrastructure Strong proficiency in Terraform, including writing and managing Terraform scripts and modules. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, etc.). Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security best practices. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and lead incident response efforts. Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
