As a Technology Support II team member in the Commercial & Investment Bank's Payments Technology Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Your efforts in troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems support a seamless user experience and a culture of continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
Analyze and troubleshoot production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery supporting the business operations of the firmImprove operational stability and availability through participation in problem managementMonitor production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability toolsAssist in the escalation and communication of issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholdersIdentify trends and assist in the management of incidents, problems, and changes in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructureRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology servicesAbility to work Saturday to Wednesday first shift and sometimes on-call outside of normal hours as per business needsWorking knowledge in SQL DatabaseWorking knowledge in AWSWorking knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve softwareKnowledge in Linux, including ability to function at the command levelKnowledge of Powershell ScriptingMonitoring tool familiarity such as: Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, App Dynamics, and/or Dynatrace is a mustAbility to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goalsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Working knowledge of RDS and Citrix environmentPrior software development background DevOps methodologies or site reliability engineering best practicesExperience in Kubernetes or DockerExposure to newer tools such as Kafka, Microservices, Cassandra
