We’re currently seeking a highly motivated and technical professional to join our Global IT Operations team as a Technology Support Analyst. This on-site, user-facing role is critical in shaping the daily technology experience of our employees and ensuring they are empowered with secure, modern tools that support productivity and business success.

This position provides an opportunity to work across endpoint systems, Microsoft 365, Tier 1/2 infrastructure maintenance and network support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Manager, Technology Services – Global, the Technology Support Analyst will play a vital role in enhancing the user experience and supporting IT operational efficiency.

Location: Edmonton, AB (On-Site)

Working Hours: Within 6:00AM to 6:00PM MST, (M-F). Actual working hours to be determined prior to hire.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

End-User Support and Endpoint Management

Act as the primary point of contact for technical support—handling incidents and service requests via phone, email, and portal to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.

Manage endpoint compliance, configuration, and device lifecycle using tools such as Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and VMware Workspace ONE.

Drive a cloud-first mindset by identifying opportunities to enhance endpoint management through automation, policy improvements, and modern MDM/EMM platforms.

Provision and deprovision of user accounts, set up devices, administer Microsoft 365 services, including user access, mailbox management, collaboration tools (teams, Outlook, OneDrive) and license management through Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Monitor endpoint health, enforce compliance policies, remediate issues and proactively address performance issues and minimize user disruption.

Assist with automated patch management, software deployments, and configuration using endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Qualys or equivalent platforms.

Support the organization’s adoption of modern cloud-based technologies by improving end-user experience and contributing to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Operational Coordination

Maintain accurate documentation, troubleshooting steps, and operational runbooks using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.

Partner with infrastructure and application teams to escalate complex technical issues and support cross-functional technology projects and operations.

Provide 24x7 escalation support for critical incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and minimize business disruption.

Open to travel within Canada or US, as required.

Network and Infrastructure Support

Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve networking issues related to endpoints, and compliance-related concerns.

Assist with integrating endpoint devices into enterprise systems while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and security policies.

Provide support for infrastructure-related activities and participate in cross-site deployments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

A technology degree or diploma in Information Technology, or a related field.

3–5 years of hands-on experience in an IT support or technical role, preferably within a distributed or multi-site environment. (Global experience is considered an asset)

Knowledge of ITIL practices, SLAs, and service management tools.

Strong customer-service orientation, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with both technical and non-technical users.

Ability to think proactively, offer creative solutions, and contribute to a team culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.

Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, ITIL) would be considered an asset.

Technical Expertise

Strong practical experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems in a managed enterprise environment.

Proven experience managing mobile platforms (iOS/Android), including secure enrollment, policy enforcement, and remote support.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive administration.

Familiarity with cloud-based endpoint strategies, and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell scripting) would be nice to have.
